HTML supports ordered (numbered) and unordered (bullet) lists. Ordered lists are displayed starting either with letters, numbers, or roman numerals. Web browsers have the annoying tendency to indent lists, which means that text converted to lists won't look the same as the original document. They also use a specific font and size for the list numbers, so you may wish to avoid using lists to more accurately preserve the look of your document. To prevent creation of all lists, click the "All Off" button.

Create unordered lists when line starts with:[ *]
Unordered lists are typically displayed by a browser with a leading bullet (*), so this is the default factory conversion setting. To specify a different character as the start of a bullet list, type the leading character (or characters) your lists use into the text field. The bullet character may be entered by typing "option-8".
