[ ] paragraph vertical spacing
When this option is checked, Myrmidon will insert vertical spacers between paragraphs and lists. This will duplicate the paragraph spacing of the original document.
[ ] line spacing greater than [] pts
If this option is checked, vertical spacers will be used to match the spacing between lines inside paragraphs and lists (some page layout applications call line spacing "leading"). To ignore line spacing below a certain amount, enter a number for this setting. Un-checking this option will let the browser decide the line spacing (usually none). You may wish to turn off this setting to make documents smaller, but doing so will make the resulting Web page less faithful to the original.
[ ] extra space after the (italic) text
Since italic text is slanted to the right, it sometimes runs into words that follow it on the same line. In order to make the text more legible, this option will add an additional space after any italic text.
Viewing the Web Page
By default, the converted Web page will open in Netscape Navigator as soon as the conversion is complete. See the Generalcategory above for how to change this behavior. Another easy way to open a web page is to drag and drop the file whose name ends with ".html" onto your favorite browser application.
To see your HTML document as text complete with HTML tags, open it with a text editor, word processor, or HTML editor. Unlike other conversion programs and most visual HTML editors, Terry Morse Myrmidon produces HTML source text which is reasonably easy to understand and edit. GoLive CyberStudiois by far the easiest program for editing Myrmidon's HTML files, so it is highly recommended. |
