Terry was the cofounder and President of Salient Software, Inc., makers of DiskDoubler, AutoDoubler, and CopyDoubler for the Macintosh. Salient Software was founded by Lloyd Chambers and Terry in 1990, using credit cards and personal savings. By 1992, annual sales had reached $7 million. The company was sold in 1992 to Fifth Generation Systems, which is now owned by Symantec Corporation.
Terry was also a founding investor and director of Bit Jugglers, Inc., makers of UnderWare for the Macintosh, and Kids World for both Macintosh and Windows. Bit Jugglers was sold to Compaq in 1995.
Terry was also a founding investor in BookMaker Corporation, makers of ClickBook for both Macintosh and Windows. BookMaker was acquired in 1996 by Forefront Group (FFGI), a publicly traded Internet software company. BookMaker is now owned by Hewlett Packard.
Terry holds bachelors and masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and he lives in Palo Alto, California.
Terry founded Terry Morse Software, Inc. in June 1996 and released a software product called Terry Morse Myrmidon:

which turns any Macintosh file into a Web page with a single click. The company's second product, GoClick, was released July 30, 1999.
